✅ INTERNAL DO NOT BOOK (DNB) PROTOCOL — STAYWITHJAY
(English + Spanish)
🇺🇸 ENGLISH VERSION
1. Purpose of the DNB Protocol
This protocol ensures that StayWithJay prevents problematic guests from booking in the future while avoiding retaliatory reviews, operational disruption, or negative platform consequences.
A guest becomes DNB (Do Not Book) when they meet any of the internal criteria:
- Excessive cleaning requirements
- Repeated rule violations
- Strong odors, smoking violations, food-related sanitation issues
- Aggressive communication
- Attempting to circumvent policies
- Verified fraudulent behavior
Once marked DNB, the guest must not be allowed to book on Airbnb, Booking.com, or direct channels.
2. Airbnb — How to Block a Guest
Step-by-Step
- Go to the conversation with the guest in Airbnb.
- Click the three dots (…) in the upper-right corner of the message window.
- Select “Report user”.
- Scroll down and choose:
“They make me feel uncomfortable” → this option triggers the block.
- Airbnb will ask: “Do you want to block this guest from contacting or booking you?”
- Select YES.

4. StayWithJay Direct Booking — Internal System (WordPress + ACF)
We will add a custom ACF field to store the guest’s risk status.

- This aligns all channels under one internal control.

Every DNB case must be documented for compliance and liability.

- Operations logs the incident with date/time and room number.
- Add notes in:
